Exploring Pathways to Excellence: Discover Our Diverse Imaging Programs

Sacramento Ultrasound Institute (SUI) specializes in providing MRI Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and Cardiac Sonography. Unlike generalist schools, our focus is on those specific areas of healthcare – meaning you get a deeper understanding of your discipline, allowing you to develop expertise.

You can train to begin your new career in under 96 weeks and as little as 42 weeks (depending on what program you choose).

Magnetic Resonance Imaging

As an MRI Technologist, you would play a pivotal role in diagnosing patients' conditions. You would use magnetic resonance imaging to take detailed pictures of the internal body and transfer that into three-dimensional images for further inspection.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you would act as a medical detective making discoveries that a hidden to the naked eye. You could work in a range of organizations such as hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers.

Cardiac Sonography

As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will capture sonograms of a person’s heart. These sonograms (images) are called echocardiograms; they will be viewed by physicians to diagnose the patients. Cardiac sonographers often pursue areas of specialization, including adult echocardiography (AE), pediatric echocardiography (PE), and fetal echocardiography (FE)

Invasive Cardiovascular Technology

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you would play a crucial role in assessing and diagnosing conditions related to the heart and blood vessels. This specialized field focuses on the non-invasive imaging and testing of the cardiovascular system, allowing medical professionals to gain insights into the functioning of the heart and circulatory system without the need for surgical procedures.

Radiologic Technology

As an X-ray Technologist, you would be an essential part of the medical team, utilizing X-ray technology to capture images of a patient's internal structures. These images, known as X-rays, are invaluable tools for diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions and injuries.
