BPPE APPROVED – Approval to Operate means compliance with state standards as set forth in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009. Accreditation also allows a school to offer Financial Aid to eligible students, which is important for many people to afford postsecondary school.

Approval to operate means the institution is compliant with the minimum standards in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act (CPPEA) of 2009 (as amended) and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations. Sacramento Ultrasound Institute is approved by the California Department of Public Health – Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB) to offer the Radiologic Technology Program. This program meets the requirements set forth under Title 17, California Code of Regulations, for training and education in diagnostic radiologic technology.
Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for the California Radiologic Technologist Certification Exam administered by CDPH-RHB.
The program curriculum includes the required components of radiation protection, equipment operation, image production and evaluation, patient care, and radiographic procedures, as mandated by CDPH-RHB.

The U.S. Department of Education approves Sacramento Ultrasound Institute to participate in Title IV/Federal Financial Aid programs.
