This self-paced, online course provides the comprehensive didactic education required for radiologic technologists, NMTCB-certified nuclear medicine technologists, and radiation therapists pursuing Computed Tomography (CT) certification. Approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for 25.25 Category A continuing education credit(s).
This course is designed for currently credentialed, actively registered imaging professionals, including:
9 instructional modules, each followed by an examination, plus 2 165-question mock registry examinations. Topics include CT physics, scanner operation, image acquisition and evaluation, radiation safety, contrast administration, imaging informatics, and cross-sectional anatomy.

This course is self-paced, with no fixed class meeting times. Trainees have one (1) year from the date their enrollment agreement is signed to complete all course requirements, including all instructional modules and examinations.
Approved by the ASRT for 25.25 Category A continuing education credit(s). Upon completion, a certificate of completion is issued reflecting the credit earned. This course does not confer academic credit, a degree, or a diploma.
Clinical experience is a separate ARRT requirement, not part of this course or its continuing education credit. As a courtesy, SUI provides clinical coordination support for actively enrolled trainees for up to one year from enrollment.
