All SUI students must:
Diagnostic Medical Sonography; General or Cardiac Admissions Requirements
Students interested in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, General, or Cardiac programs start the enrollment by
attending or watching a recorded program-based webinar info session. The webinar info session will include general and program admission requirements, program structure, tuition cost breakdown, and resources and tools to allow an applicant to make an informed decision about their career.
Email admissions@sui.edu to request an Application Packet for your desired program after attending or watching a recorded program info session and confirming that you have met the general and program admission prerequisites by sending your transcripts to transcripts@sui.edu.
Once receiving the Application Packet, you will be prompted to review and sign the following documents;
School Performance Fact Sheet, Physical Demand Form, Distance Education Survey, submit an ID/DL card copy and complete the online application.
An invitation to the Wonderlic Entrance Exam is sent upon receipt of the Initial Documents and the Online
Application. The applicant will get 2 attempts to successfully pass the online Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam
with a score of 20+. The exam is proctored online, 8 minutes long, and has 30 multiple choices and fill-in
questions in English grammar and Mathematics. The second attempt must be taken after 24 hours after the
first attempt. A waiting period of one year is required should the applicant not pass the exam.
After successfully passing the Wonderlic Exam, applicants may submit the following documents electronically
to admissions@sui.edu
NOTE: All documents must be saved in PDF format as individual documents and submitted in one email
(File save Example: Resume -Last Name). No Zip folder or linked Google drives.
Foreign High Schools and Degrees must be evaluated by a NACES-approved agency.
An invitation to the Group Interview will be sent once submitted documents are evaluated and a clear
background check is received.
Please note should you have any DUI or misdemeanor on your records, this automatically disqualifies you
from moving forward in the application process at SUI. If you are interested in moving forward in the medical
field, we highly suggest you contact ARRT or ARDMS ethics department to get clearance that you are eligible
to sit for the registry examination.
Application status will be shared via email based on the program application window timeline. The final
admissions decision is determined by the following:
Students accepted to the program should be prepared to submit immunization/vaccination records, sign
enrollment documents, and financial contracts, and attend the mandatory New Student Orientation.
