Polyrhythms & Polymeters are compositional techniques that describe pulses which are de-synchronous between two. ☆ A polyrhythm is the simultaneous use of two or more rhythms that are not readily perceived as deriving from one another or more sequences of music. Given 2 bars of the same length and tempo (stacked vertically), a polyrhythm would be dividing the upper bar into 4 beats and the lower one into 3 beats. These beats would be in sync on the first beat and drift or phase for remainder of the bar. ☆ A polymeter is where two sequences are played using different meters, but with the same tempo. For example a pattern that repeats a sequence over 5/4 played against one repeating over 4/4. Polyrhythm and polymeter differ in that the first repeats every measure, and the latter at the phrase level ☆ Phasing is a compositional technique in which the same part (a repetitive phrase) is played on two musical instruments, in steady but not identical tempi. Thus, the two instruments gradually shift out of unison, creating first a slight echo as one instrument plays a little behind the other, then a doubling effect with each note heard twice, then a complex ringing effect, and eventually coming back through doubling and echo into unison. ☆ Counterpoint is the relationship between two or more musical lines (or voices) which are harmonically interdependent yet independent in rhythm and melodic contour. ☆ In music theory, the term mode or modus is used in a number of distinct senses, depending on context. Its most common use may be described as a type of musical scale coupled with a set of characteristic melodic and harmonic behaviors. It is applied to major and minor keys as well as the seven diatonic modes (including the former as Ionian and Aeolian) which are defined by their starting note or tonic. ----------------------------------------------------- "Fogaraté" is the Dominican word for the plant Mucuna pruriens, whose dust causes an intense itching on contact with the skin. But the word has a double meaning: in the Dominican Republic it is said that a person (male) has "fogaraté" when he is very "on", or if he is very "alive". A woman who has "fogaraté" is one that is "turned on", or aroused sexually. Mondongo (also known as Chas) is a soup made from diced tripe ("tripas", or the stomach of a cow or pig or a Chas) slow-cooked with vegetables such as bell peppers, onions, carrots, cabbage, celery, tomatoes, cilantro, garlic or root vegetables. The dish is generally prepared in former Spanish colonies in Latin America, The Caribbean, and in the Philippines (a former Spanish Colony). In the Dominican Republic, Mondongo is believed to be a potent aphrodisiac. #rvxadryl male enhancement #red mamba male enhanced #best male stamina enhancement
